In February 2016 Anand, Gordon, Keegan and Vishnu purchased Laminated Components cc from Barry Cox (Passed away early 2023) and Roy Cox. The Cox brothers ran a successful business until they decided to retire in 2016. The new owners continued to operate from the existing premises in Pinetown and serving the same client base.

Towards the later part of 2016 an opportunity arose and Laminated Components purchased Sheffield Foundry from Ken Groom (passed away June 2023) and Tony Wills. In early 2017 a decision was taken to move Laminated Components from Pinetown to Sheffield Foundry in Compensation, Ballito. Nadia became a partner in the business in 2021 and continues to handle the administration and financial needs of the company.

We cover a wide range of products from patterns, moulds, wooden products, ferrous and non-ferrous castings, fiberglass products, artefacts, antique replicas etc. No job is too small or too big and we are always up for a challenge.
